Swimmers/Bathers/Togs

One of the essential elements of swimming is your attire. This attire changes depending on the situation. Skinny dipping obviously requires the lack of attire, while swimming in a public pool (such as at the Valley) requires clothing. I know this. And when I play to go swimming I plan to take boardies. Things don't always go to plan. To cut a short story long, yesterday morning was not a good morning for me. First off I'm running late to go swimming. The reason I was late was I was rushing to get ready so I could go pick Naomi up before work as she lives just round the corner. Somehow I had forgotten that she was getting a lift with another friend (Frank). I knew this because she had sent me a text the night before, which I had even replied to. So I was late getting into the city. It's time like those that I appreciate my Nissan NX because it goes fast when I want it to. So anyway, the girl I was going swimming with forgot I was coming so when I got to where we were meeting she was already at the pool. So as I'm walking down there to meet her I think to myself, did I pack my boardies. A quick check of my bag reveals I didn't. So I didn't go swimming. Not going to swimming this week. Monday for sure. Not really, but we'll see.

I think i've got oldtimers disease. I'm forgetting everything at the moment. I even forget the fact that I've got indoor soccer tonight. Luckily it is at 9 so that gives me a chance to hang around and talk to my sisters as they're playing at 945. I think. Should be good.

Alright, I'm off to fix up my car. It has a bit of it hanging off that's scraping on the road. Time to see just how bad a handy-man I can be.

You canna hand a man a granda Spaanderman-a. All those Brisbane Lions fans out there should know what I mean.
