November

Long time no chat.

Well, November is upon us now and things just keep staying busy. It's Dad's birthday tomorrow and then mine on Sunday, plus I've got a party to go to on Saturday night plus poker friday night. I can't see myself getting much sleep. Should be fun though :)

In far more interesting news for the discerning reader, I've quit my current place of work. I now have 3 shifts left, yay! Of course, 2 of those are on the weekend which isn't the best, but I can live with that. Supposedly I have a new job doing Help Desk Support for Teltra Broadband. Casual so I'm relying on the agency to tell me the job is mine before I say for sure. They've told me verbally I have the job but I don't think I'll believe it until I actually start. I've been burnt too many times.

Plus test match cricket hit's town again this Thursday. Hopefully I'll be going to the first day as it's a tradition we (I can't remember who was in the we, but there was a we) tried to start several years ago. Never really caught on, which is a shame.

Anyway, should be a good week from here on in. Lots of family dinners (which is good as I don't catch up with my sisters often enough) and lots of fun for me! Hope everyone else has some great weekends planned.

I believe I was involved in the beginning of that tradition and I haven't miss a first day of a Test match in about 4 years! So ner to you sir! N-E-R!

I'm booked in to go and see the Test on Saturday! Looking forward to a great day... At least it shouldn't be over by the 3rd day :)
