So. Staying at my sisters place while she's off on her honeymoon. I think my main task is to water the plants so they don't die. Which seems easy enough. I'm using it as an experiment on living on my own to see how I enjoy it. Today not so much. I'd forgotten how much I dislike having to cook for one person and I'm not sure what I could buy to fix that. Everything will probably be too big for one person so I'll have to figure out how to downsize. There is a brand new Coles just up the road so I really should go and investigate what they've got. I'll probably start eating more salad as I can just cut it up and then stick it in the fridge.
Of course, what I plan and what really happens are two very different things altogether.
At work it's gotten busy since Amanda left as we have one less person to do stuff. Although we had a new-ish person start today, Emma. She's worked there as an intern before so she should know what she's doing.
Found out that a friend of mine is pregnant, which is really good news for her as I know she wanted another child so it's good that she's going to have another one. Not sure what her husband thinks but I'm pretty certain he must be ok with the idea. Can't see that kind of decision being made unilaterally anyway.
And I've worked out how I can afford a brand new MX-5. I just have to live in a place where the rent is less then $100/week and then I can still save enough after the car loan to feel confident about paying it off. Whether a bank feels the same is a different matter. Not that I'm definitely going to go do that, it's just an option. First off I'd have to want to spend that much on a car and I'd have to enjoy living in a place for $100/week. Both kind of iffy. But if I start getting paid more for work (i.e. find a new job) then I can up how much rent I can pay per week. Ah, the options :)
Anyway, I think that's enough for one day, I should go and see how my clothes are getting on.
