Eagle boys

Today being a Tuesday and with me having fond memories of cheap Tuesday pizza's from Eagle Boys, I decided to have pizza. Apparently the store at Fairfield doesn't do the cheap pizza's, which is a shame. They do however match competitors vouchers....to a point. They will draw the line in the sand at 5.95 which was a bit of a shame as we had a voucher for 5.50 from Pizza Hut. But they said they'd accept the voucher just at 5.95 so we said yes. The problem we had was that the Pizza Hut voucher had experied on the 9/01, yesterday. We figured what the hey, they probably won't notice and if they do we just pay full price. So I get to the store and give the girl the voucher and money and I get some pizza's. Stuck into the box was what looked like an Eagle Boy's voucher, which it was. The expiry date? 01/01.

How ironic.

In other news, I have some monthly goals that I've set myself. All very achievable and I'm on my way to fulfilling some of them. Not all of them, but some of them. We'll see how close I end up to achieving all of them. I wish one of them was to buy a new car, but it isn't. I still find myself vacillating over which car to get. I still want that mx-5 but a hot hatch does have a certain appeal.

And then there's all the other things I could spend the money on. But we'll wait till next month to see if it sneaks on to my goals list :)
