No I'm not going crazy or changing my name. I just want people to think "Zap Branigan Voice" when they see anything between *'s.
So as I think I mentioned in a previous blog, I have some goals for this month. One of which is to fix up my car, or as I like to call, *sexify* my car. So at the moment all I've done is fix the inside of the car so it won't get indigestion from oil getting into places it shouldn't. So that's good. Expensive, but good. Take that oil, you're going around the cooling system like you're meant to.
Step 2 is to fix the unsightly blemish on the rear of the car which is paint peeling off. I'm getting a call tomorrow to give me a quote on that (hopefully). At that point it's time to get the car washed. It won't know what hit it. And I'm not just saying that line, it's actually terribly witty. Let me explain. The last time it got washed was when I hit a car (my fault this time dammit) and had to have the car repaired by my insurance company. After hanging on to my car for about a month (I know it's a nice car, but come on!) they gave it a wash and everything when they gave it back. Since then it's been for a service twice. How it stayed this clean is a mystery only Dan Brown can better.
It may have something to do with rain.
So once it's all washed and nice and clean inside, I then have to do work instead of paying others to do it for me. Keeping it clean myself doesn't sound that hard. I'm pretty certain I can do it to. I've also made my car (marginally) prettier by the addition of a new gear stick. This was because the old leather one had had it. So I got one that I thought looked cool and couldn't put it. The lovely service people did it for me instead. And I finally fixed the rear brakelight that hasn't been working since, ooooh, at a rough guess, the 15th of August. I feel very accomplished this week. I think I'll keep doing this monthly goal thing, seems to be working out very well.
Which reminds me, I'm off to go fulfill another one.
