Wireless

Wires were good in their day. They've just had it. So a wireless network is the way to go right? And you'd think all cards would work the same. But no. At Mum and Dad's, when I stayed there I needed to access the Internet from a different room, so I bought a wireless access point for them as well as a new network card for me as I couldn't find my antenna. And yes, I did try to find a new antenna instead of a card. I just didn't try very hard. I bought a Belkin model on special from Harvey Norman.

Never ever buy a belkin product.

My parents have had no end of trouble with their modem since I bought the access point. I don't believe it's a coincidence. And my belkin refuses to play nice with the Netgear wireless router here at my new place. I finally got the shits with it and tore it out of there tonight and replaced it with my old netgear one. I now have lag free gaming.

*sigh* so very very annoying.

I also have lost the race to Cameron who has now taken possession of his new toy. Damn him.
