And up goes the pendulum

It's funny how your perspective on things change on a daily basis. Could have something to do with where you're standing or what you're looking at. I say the latter. If you're at the top of a cliff and looking right down, it's a hell of a long way before you hit the bottom. Enough time to write a sign that says "Eeep!" though a la road runner.

Or you can get your head up and look at that fantastic view. That's what I've decided to do, look at the view.

Then again, I tell myself that at least once a week. This time I'm doing stuff instead of just thinking about it though. For a change. I know what I want so it is just a matter of working out how to get it. And if it is even possible to get what you want. Often it isn't but you find something equally as good on your journey. Like a winning lottery ticket.

Not that a lottery ticket is that good a find (to my thinking) even with all the goods and services (woohoo!) that it can be exchanged for.

For example, I'd like a job that means I don't have to deal with clients. So I could just sit in my cubicle and work on stuff. Like world peace or whatever else takes my fancy. I'd still like there to be people around me to talk to if I wanted to, I just wouldn't have to fix their problems. That would be nice. So as Amanda no longer works at the same place as I do I've decided to do her job. I'm not too sure how I'm going to do that but I have the list of things she was working on so I'll just start doing them. Sure I have no idea how to do that but there's where the Senior Web Publishing Support Officer comes in. She's powered by donuts so as long as I keep them coming I should be set :)

The last major plan I had was to get fit and that has (largely) worked so I'm confident I can do this as well. There is no way known that I will be going back to work in a call centre 3 days a week (I don't care what name you give it, it's a call centre). I've done my time in customer service, I'm better then that and damn it I will prove it.

Or I could just go bungee jumping in NZ. I'll post photos when I do.
