Eating

I like to eat. I do a lot of my eating at work. Julie, a fellow work colleague also likes to eat. We also happen to both think there is a small measure of joy in sharing our food with others. I've never asked anybody to pay for any of the various snacks that I bring in to work. Lately it seems to be that I'm the only one bringing stuff. And therefore the only one paying. Admittedly I eat a lot of whatever it is I bring in and I have happened to have left some stuff (a chocolate donut) in the generally accepted communal eating area when it wasn't. So it could be argued it's my fault. But would it hurt people to bring in some snacks for me to share on a more regular basis? This is not directed at Julie but at other people in the unit (this is due to a long history of sharing). And really just to let people know that I'm not bringing in anything for a while to see what happens to come from what I like to call the non-contributing members of staff. I await their offerings with baited breath.

I promise I will bring an applle tea cake ! :-)

Looking forward to coming in for lunch on Fab Food Friday - hopefully in 3 or 4 weeks.

Depends on my health levels.

By the way I have now lost 20 KG since christmas. This makes 35 kg since I joined the department.

Before I come visit you guys I have to buy pants and belt that will not fall off!

Had to cut 4 extra holes in belt I am wearing.

Hmm... I used to be an eater, without being a provider. I changed my ways though, and I was a regular contributer to our afternoon smoko in Karratha. Mainly when I went to the shops at lunchtime for groceries. I'd generally pick up a loaf of iced raisin bread, then cut it up and butter it. Mmmm :)

BTW, you're after the word bated, rather than baited.

Andrew...do make sure you have all wardrobe malfunctions worked out before you come into lunch...either than or some really funny/glow in the dark boxers may be in order :) It's good to see you commenting again. We have missed you!!!

And in response...sorry :( but that is why I stopped also. I used to spend a fortune on snacks for the table and people eat but don't contribute...we could have a secret snack drawer???
