The rest of the trip

Not too much to report for the rest of the trip compared to the first day. There was the simultaneous napping by AJ and myself in exactly the same position on different chairs. Considering the height difference I think that's quite good. I got no chocolate given to me on Easter. I did eat a bit as there was a communcal block in the unit (at least I thought it was communal, never checked). We did go to the Royal Easter Show for the first time ever which was great fun. Long train ride in but when we got in there there were some good things to see. Mainly the showbag pavilion. I got me a cherry ripe show bag, mainly because it came with a purple cowboy hat that flashes. Uncle Mike also got one after seeing me with one :) I tried to get the two foot long plush snake from the snakes alive bag but they'd sold out and they wouldn't sell me the one on the wall. I tried to get them to sell it to me but no dice. I wasn't very happy. The rest of the day we spent congregating under the flashing purple hat. Well, everybody else did, I was the one who had to wear it. Funnily enough no one else volunteered......

The bottle of wine we got for 12.50 down at the local in Campbelltown was a fantastic drop. I can't remember the exact vintage but it was a 2000. Tom went to get and since the bottle shop was closed he had to go to the bar. The girl behind the bar didn't have much of an idea so he just asked for a red and a white. Which is what he got. Admittedly I wouldn't know any better either, but it was a highlight of the trip.

And that's pretty much it for the trip. Back to Brisbane life and things are pretty much the same. Playing too much Diablo 2 (it is possible) and stuff. The highlight so far has definitely been taking a long lunch today and going to get ice cream from Southbank. And that's my update done. I wanted to get this done in case you were all wondering what was coming next. I have no creative juices today and it's not going to get finished unless i take some short cuts. Which I have. Hope everybody has a good public holiday tomorrow.
