My house is soon to enter the information age once more. I've organised for a phone line to be installed (for a fairly hefty fee) and from there i then need to get the Internet put on.
I was going to get TPG as they had the plan that was perfect for me, but apparently the Bulimba exchange hasn't been upgraded for them. It has for iiNet but I think they've got a different network. So to all you people with Broadband out there, who should I go with if I'm after adsl2+ at the cheapest possible rate?
And while we're at it, I need a modem and router. Should I be going with what they sell or should I get something independently. I do have an existing ADSL modem just sitting in a box somewhere so I won't need one if I can't get ADSL2+ which is a possibility.

You know if we had a more powerful router, then you could log into our wireless...
Anyway, we're with AAPT. For two reasons - neither of twice will matter to you as I don't think they'll do adsl2+. But they are a 12gB monthly limit (speed limited excess) and it was free set up and modem...
I have a preference for IINET

Did you check out Exetel? I reckon they're pretty hot...
I'm with TPG... ah, um... "was" with TPG. Which reminds me... I need to cancel my account from my old house!!!! Shit!
