First post of Spring

It's been a while. Almost a week in fact and I haven't blogged. Sometimes you're just not in the mood. Couple of things I do want to say though. Poor Steve Irwin. The undefeated tag was good while we had it. Women suck.

In other, more interesting news I got to operate as an ambulance last night. It was only a badly cut finger but by Jove I got him to hospital on time :) And there is one particular corner that I will not be taking that fast again. There was a whole lot of shaking going on that didn't quite feel right. The back end didn't even slide out which was the worst thing about it really :)

I've also been talked into buying WoW. So far it's kind of boring but I'll stick with it for a while to see what I think of it. To be honest I can see why some people find it interesting but those were the same people who enjoyed Neverwinter nights. I was not one of them as I found the interface annoying. And what's with having to get really really really close before shooting things? If I can see something I should be able to shoot it. And more importantly they should be able to see me. Sure it would make the game much more unbalanced and less fun but it's what I want.

And as for finding a third room-mate, it's turning into a huge drama. We did have one guy come through who we both thought was worth getting to move in but it ends up that he and Lisa have decided to start going out instead. What's with that?! Obviously finding somewhere to live isn't that important. So we'll see what various other people who are coming to look through do. Hopefully one of them does decide the room is more attractive then the other tenants and decides to move in. Because if not I may be forced to move all over again as I'm not going to continue paying as much as I am. Really need to start saving.

Oh yeah, Joe, I went with TPG and I got their modem/router as well. Works fine for everything, the wireless does work but has been disabled at present as it's quicker to run it through an Ethernet port.

That's it for the moment I guess. Although you'd be surprised how much glass goes into a wok cover. And just how far it shatters. As an ad once said, it's the way it shatters that matters! :)

Wow I beat Andrew to comment... wow...

Ben I am sure if a nice chickie walked in and wanted you over the room you'd be happier than a Ben who had finally found a 3rd room-mate!

In other comments I can't condone that sort of driving young man! :p

Ok first of all...why do women suck? As a member of the accused gender group I feel a need to defend us...unless of course there is good reason and in that case I will buy you beer.

Secondly, the glass wok cover is intriguing and I am wondering if you were holding your very own version of Myth Busters???

Sorry I took so long and missed being the first to comment. :-)

Lately I have been preoccupied a bit.

I agree with Frank. WoW is evil.

I have lost to many digital friends to it.

The ones in America cannot use the same servers as those in Europe.

Let me know what you think of it in a couple of weeks. Sounds a bit too much like EverQuest (which I also avoided)for my liking. I thought it was BORING.

Neverwinter Nights 2 will be out soon. That shall be interesting

You could always take up Dragon hunting. We are always looking for a few more vict... eh ... volunteers.

Till then, all is fun.
