Privacy

I'm one of those people who like their privacy. It's not often that I'll volunteer information, must more often I'll just throw a teaser out there and see who's actually interested before giving more information.

This blog is a lot like that. A lot of the time I leave a lot unsaid. There are a couple of reasons for that, the main one being I don't want everybody to know. If you are one of the people who wants to know, then you can email me and ask what on earth I'm on about. I've just spent a couple of minutes re-reading old blog posts and reading between the lines. At the moment I still know exactly what I'm talking about in all my posts, but I'm pretty certain no one else does. The closest that anybody would get would be Mick, but even he would be baffled at some of the comments I've come up with over the years.

So basically, I'm just saying that I'm never ever going to reveal everything on this blog. It's part of my philosophy of that if you want to know something you have to ask. A blog is not the place to bare your soul. Of course, if we all thought that the world would be boring so don't stop doing whatever you're doing with your own blog.

Also, I feel like sharing this:

A long long time ago, way back in history,
when all there was to drink was nothin but cups of tea.
Along came a man by the name of Charlie Mops,
and he invented a wonderful drink and he made it out of hops.

He must have been an admiral,
a sultan or a king,
and to his praises we shall always sing.
Look what he has done for us he's filled us up with cheer!
Lord bless Charlie Mops, the man who invented beer beer beer
tiddly beer beer beer.

The Curtis bar, the James' Pub,
the Hole in the Wall as well
one thing you can be sure of,
its Charlie's beer they sell
so all ye lads a lasses
at eleven O'clock ye stop
for five short seconds,
remember
Charlie Mops 1 2 3 4 5

He must have been an admiral,
a sultan or a king,
and to his praises we shall always sing.
Look what he has done for us he's filled us up with cheer!
Lord bless Charlie Mops, the man who invented beer beer beer
tiddly beer beer beer.

A barrel of malt, a bushel of hops, you stir it around with a stick,
the kind of lubrication to make
your engine tick.
40 pints of wallop a day will keep
away the quacks.
Its only eight pence hapenny
and one and six in tax, 1 2 3 4 5

He must have been an admiral,
a sultan or a king,
and to his praises we shall always sing.
Look what he has done for us he's filled us up with cheer!
Lord bless Charlie Mops, the man who invented beer beer beer
tiddly beer beer beer.

The Lord bless Charlie Mops!

I must admit your blog sometimes frustrates me as it hints at so much yet says so little. And this is all despite the fact you think I can understand it better than anyone else! :p

But I've known you for a while now and I know you pretty well... in fact over the last year or so I feel like I've come to know you better than ever... and that's just your style and I accept that.

:-)

Ahhh but you have already revealed a lot in your blog for instance your feelings about privacy and sport.

When we write anything we reveal something of ourselves, even if it is ( especially in my case)poor spelling ability.

:-)

Ok lets get serious. Yes I know what you mean. Nothing important.

We all blog for different reasons and if we did not, yes it would be a boring place.

All of us to some degree hold back. Though some, like me, may appear to be more "out there".

The important question is, what did I NOT write about, OR, perhaps what I did not publish. :-)

There are entries in my blog that will never see the light of day and others you will only see if I am dead.

Yes I do plan ahead. :-)

I can understand throwing a teaser out there to see who is interested and who bites. Done it myself.

Sometimes it is an exercise in creative writing, revealing a little, but not to much.

Also distraction is a wonderful thing. Not only for the reader but for myself.

Yes I get bites. Sometimes in the comments and sometimes in email.

In my case I write largly for myself and my brothers and some friends. It is my therapy. You will not find my blog listed in search engines.

I maintain two public web sites at the moment but my blog site is not that public and is read by only a very very small number of people. At this time I like it that way.

Sometimes my blog entries are written with one or two people in mind. To bad they dont read my blog. :-)

My mentoring entries are like that. When the TAG feature is enabled I will be able to tag (apply metadata) to all my mentoring entries so they will not get lost.

Wish blogger would hurry up with this feature.

Charlie Mops - you like the song. Is one of the reasons it was in a game?

Or do you just like beer? Or both?
