Getting closer

It is now less then a month till I leave for Europe. Not much remains undone on the list of essentials to be done before I go. The only thing left is a Visa for both Spain and the UK, and that is a simple matter of sending it off. Hopefully there are no problems and that'll be back with me soon.

So now that worry is out of the way, I just have to concentrate on enjoying what's left of my time in Australia. And that includes building up a resistance to alcohol, something I took very seriously this weekend, and which I'm now regretting. Luckily a good lunch yesterday made me feel human again, plus the fact our office move didn't go smoothly meant I didn't actually have to do anything in the morning. Lucky me....

Or it could be the cheese and crackers, I'm not really sure. I'm off to Rockhampton today and I intend to make the most of the restaurant I'm staying at. I'm just hoping I can find a decent book to read from the book store at the airport. I've been travelling so often that I'm starting to run out of books I want to read and now have to browse properly. Sure I could, as Cameron keeps suggesting, buy a DS and entertain myself that way, but I know I'll get bored of that sooner then a book.

Anyway, we defeated Narangba 3-0 on the weekend, which is good to keep a clean sheet for a change. So that leaves two semi-finals and the grand final left in the season. Getting close now...I'm just not sure how my body is going to stand up to it. The last couple of days have been a bit hard on me, I've been forced to do stretches to get me through the day and to keep the ankles limber. That and playing two games of indoor soccer is a no-no. One of these days I'll learn :)

29 days till Europe, 26 till the Grand Final (assuming we make it) and 14 work days left....
