Fix the car already

Well, it's been a week since the car has been stolen, and the police service have done very little to help get it back on the road. I think I've now made 5 calls to get it all sorted, and hopefully today it will finally have some action. I believe the job will now be raised with Crime Scene Investigation (or whatever they're called) so they can finally get around to finger printing a car that's been out in the open for a week......

So then I can get it assessed and everything can proceed from there.

In other news, the application I do most of my work in failed today. It's currently being reset. I debated whether to tell anybody about it, as it is my second last day. And I'm the only one here able to do any work. But since I got a complaint I guessed I probably should. It took me a while to come to that conclusion though. Unfortunately it's now working, so I guess I do have to do work today. Tomorrow being my very last day, I'm not going to do any work. I'm just re-assigning all my tasks, and maybe helping to eat donuts. That's pretty much my plan for tomorrow.

I also have mail at the post office...hopefully it's my visa. Ideally I'd like it to be my contract for my new job, but beggars can't be choosers :)

And a big hello to all the people out there reading this who I don't know are reading it! I got an email from a guy I used to know who's been reading this blog, and it makes me kind of curious about who else has been reading this and remaining anonymous. I remember reading a stat about Web 2.0, which in a nut shell is stuff on the web that is created by the community. Less then 1% of people actually did any work maintaining the content, the other 99%+ simply read what was on offer. If you're having trouble visualising that, just think of Wikipedia.

Alright, enough bludging, back to work....if I don't do it now then I have to do it later today. Le sigh.

You're right. Most people don't do anything but read. don't even click the 'rate this site/help' button.
