Narrow boats

Are slow. Very slow. But not a bad way to see the countryside, and it
definitely beats walking. Doesn't beat anything else, but it does beat
walking.

This weekend I went up to the Lake District and saw Uncle Nick. Along
with the narrow boat ride (which was really nice actually) there was
also the drive in the Roadster Smart. Very comfy seats, if I still
owned a car I'd get those seats if I could ... segue ... and the
cheque has arrived for my previous car, which is fantastic news. I
don't know exactly how that's going to work, as I'd like to be able to
pay off my car loan altogether plus spend it all over here....it'll be
interesting to see which desire wins :)

Sadly no photo's again, the mac doesn't play nice with my phone. Nor
can I get skype on it by the looks of it...I had a look but can't see
anything about it. I will look again though.

Also, if using a mac, holding down the 3 bottom left keys (ctrl,
option and apple key) and pressing the number 8 (not in the number
pad) will result in your colours inverting on your screen. It makes
quite a nice change for a little while, and most interestingly blue
goes to brown. Good way to check your contrast is high enough when
developing stuff. I'm sure there's another reason why you can do this,
but I'm not sure what it is....
