Difficult questions

Alright, I can't decide. I want to learn another language while I'm over here in Europe. Partly because it's so easy to go over there, and just because I've always wanted to learn another language since I realised I'd blown the chance to learn French at school.

Hence the poll up in the top right. I can't really decide between the top 3. The others are there just for fun, and for ones I haven't thought of. So I'd like other peoples thoughts on the matter, keep in mind that I know about the same amount in all languages at the moment. Which is how to count to 10 (almost). So thoughts away!

Let me know your thoughts, either just by voting or by commenting. As far as I can tell, none of those languages are going to be terribly useful in the long run. But you never know. One week till I get my car :)

We're not being particularly helpful with the voting are we?

I would suggest Italian.

:-)

In Germany, Austria, Switzerland - many speak English - I am speaking from experience now.

In Italy - not many speak English.
Harder to get around in Italy without knowledge of the language.

Would like to go back and spend a month in Rome some time. Traveled Europe for about 45 days just recently.

Good to see you still going strong over there.
