Brief Update

Well, that was fun.

Just updated the side bar on this blog because I felt I couldn't let the rest of my family get too far ahead of me in the blogging race. And besides, I haven't played around with raw HTML code in a while. Kind of fun. Almost (but not quite) thought it'd be a good idea to come up with a new template. Not quite that crazy.

Since the last post, lots of things going on. Work is still horrible but I've decided to go back to playing Indoor Soccer. To the chagrin of my sisters I've told them I won't be playing on the mixed team anymore. I say this because I filled in for them one night and single-handedly won the game. I think it's safe to say that when you score 7 goals in a quarter and around 11 out of the 13 goals. Just one of those days when everything goes right.

Instead of playing on the family team (as I like to call it) I'm playing A grade mens as goalkeeper with what should be the top team. I don't know why they're not at the moment but with me in the team hopefully they will be. It's all starting to come back to me, legs together, hands up. For the uniniated, goal keeping is not easy. If you do it right (and I, at the very least try to) then you will get hot and sweaty. Constantly moving to cover most of the goal in case a shot comes in while at the same time checking to make sure the defence is marking up. It's not easy to do it well. Feels really good when you get it all right though.

Applied for a new job at work, basically as a telemarketer. At present I do Messaging and Directory Assistance, which isn't very glamorous but is still better then a telemarketer. It's not like I'm trying to sell anything (I think) just feel like I need a change. Besides, it'll give me some useful experience if I do ever go for another Service Manager position.

That's enough for now, talk to you all later.
