Story Time

I often sit down to blog about something without anything in mind. Which makes it very difficult to come up with a title. Although I like the idea of always writing "Title Goes Here" I don't think that would be useful AT ALL. So I don't. I instead spend at least 3 seconds thinking of what to write up.

Anyway. I've been going through my books and I've found this book I bought to write up short stories in. I only ever wrote one but I was quite proud of it, it all flowed smoothly and I only killed 1 pen in the attempt :) This was years ago. I was planning on typing it up tonight but after one paragraph have given up that attempt as far too hard. It's not bad in it's current format except that was always meant to be a draft and then I would type it up and polish it. I'm also trying to write another story about a Vampiress. I know exactly where I want the story to go and how it's going to end. It's connecting the start (which I'm happy with) to the end that is proving difficult. I have the people where they need to be and although I haven't hit a wall yet, I know I'm going to hit it soon as the next bit I have no idea how I'm going to do what I want to do. So I may end up scrapping the whole idea. Which might work if I expand on that idea....hmm.

I've just changed the title to Story Time. Seems appropriate. There's an idea, I may start a blogged story. Write a little chapter at work and then type it up when I get home. Not. Need an idea and just don't have one.

Oh yes, the other (non important) thing that is happening at the moment is that I managed to get knocked out of the finals in Dream Team. I don't know how I scored so low this week, all I know is that if I'd had my regular captain I would have won. I thought I'd finish so far behind that I had to take a punt and hope one guy (Matthew Lloyd) would step up and kick lots of goals. Essendon were playing Hawthorn but they decided to lose. So that didn't happen. So them's the breaks. Still, I'm happy I got this far.

That's enough for the moment, back to writing. I think I'll do an alternate ending to the story. Simply because I want to.
