OMG OMG OMG OMG DONUTS!!!!
You have to try dreamy donuts on Charlotte Street. Even if you can't eat them because you're allergic, this is the way you'd want to go. The range is incredible. Not happy with the service but since the donuts are so good I'm willing to forgive that.

Dreamy donuts are just a rip-off of Krispy Kremes, with the same pricing structure, and the promotion of the original glazed. But if Krispy Kreme original glazed are a 10, and Woolworths cinnamon donuts a 1, dreamy donuts original glazed is only about a 5. So if Krispy Kremes come to Brisbane, I'd be very surprised if Dreamy Donuts survived.
That's like saying a Ford Focus is a rip off of the Mazda 3 because they have the same chassis. If there is no competition in the premium donut stakes then they can afford to charge higher prices and given the current state of donut competition in Brisbane they can. At no point did I compare the two although by all accounts Krispy Kreme is better.
There's only space for one cynical person on this blog and that's me :)
