Job

Well, I didn't get the permanent position at work. Don't know what is going to happen to me after March as that is when my current time to be there is up. I came second so it's not like I did badly. By the sounds of it this guy is pretty good. I might be extended because we have somebody leaving this week so I could just be moved from temporary position to temporary position. Not too sure I want her position as I might have to run a project to get a training program going, but hopefully the new guy can do that instead. It sounds like he has plenty of experience in that area so we'll just shuffle it off on to him.

In other news, for Lent I have given up buying lunch. It may not seem much but I'm sure if I can stick to that resolution (and not buy anything at all during they day) I can save easily $50 a week. And if I do that then I can justify doing ever more things to my car :) If only it wasn't for Vanessa and Cameron's wedding I'd be able to do that now but I have to buy them a present. I know what I'm getting them so that's good. I just hope they like it.

Need to get a haircut too....I'm becoming a hippy :)
