The goal drought is over. It took a long time this season, but I've finally got my first goal. Playing Ridge Hills and the score was 1-1. Halfway through the second half I won the ball in defence, ran it forward then chipped it over the defence to the striker. I kept running and he passed it back to me and I coolly and calmly slotted it past the keeper. Inspirational was the word others used, as we ended up winning 5-2. It was a tough battle until we got those late goals.
Apart from that, I have had to revise my plans for moving to Europe due to the horrible trouble I'm having finding a place to live. Much as I like Vanessa and Cameron's place, I think they like it more when I'm not there :) I'll have to talk to some people about somewhere to stay, and continue my hunting.
Also, semi-related is the fact I have now had my most expensive service of my car ever. The previous record was around 1500 (I've forgotten the exact amount) when a lot of things got fixed. This time it was 1766, thanks to the need for a genuine part. At least it's back, and soon it will start getting warmer so I can leave the roof off :)
Anyway, that's enough. Dreamteam is still going alright, not brilliantly though. I think I may suffer my first loss this week in a while...which is a bummer but I should still get a decent score. I hope, it all comes down to Mr Blah Blah doing well (Chris Judd) but I've heard reports he had an injury which would explain his recent poor scores....
Hope y'all out there are having fun to make up for me... :)
