What a trip, full of fun. It started off alright, although I got the time of the plane leaving wrong. I wasn't late, merely wasn't able to take any clothes with me as they were all still wet. Which was fine. Checked in fine, but when I got to Bundaberg I found out that work had not hired my car like they were supposed to. So I ended up having to hire it myself, and the invoice will be mailed to me. Luckily the room had been booked. I then went out shopping in Bundaberg....which wasn't as easy an experience as you'd expect. Most CBDs would have a shopping centre in the middle of town, but not Bundy. They instead have an old fashioned street and all the stores along it. Which is fine, but not what I was after. Still, I got the clothes I needed for the next day, which made me happy.
As for the session itself, apart from the caterers expecting 14 people instead of the 12 we had, and the fact there wasn't a projector and whiteboard all set up when I got there it went pretty well. I haven't looked at the feedback yet though...and I don't think I want to :)
All in all, the best thing about the flight was haven't an empty seat next to me on the way up and the way down. Being able to stretch out is a luxury I won't often get while travelling, and it was greatly appreciated.
In other far more exciting news, my bed is finally here. It may have taken four men to get it upstairs and into the room it's meant to be in, but it's here and as soon as I get some sheets I'll be able to sleep on it. After my trip away I'd forgotten just how much more comfortable a real bed is. Anyway, I'm off to get ready for soccer, more exciting news later party people!

Is now a bad time to mention that bundy actually has two shopping centres, they're about 10 minutes north of the main drag ? :)
