I don't know when I got this way. I was watching TV this evening and I got upset at every single ad in an ad break. Which I find quite remarkable. Apart from the Ford ad....
For starters, there was the 'Uncle Toby's Oats'. Talking about how new research has shown that foods high in ultra-goodicaradine (I made that name up) such as 'Uncle Toby's Oats' are good for you. I want to know if 'Uncle Toby's Sugar' is good for me too compared to normal sugar, because surely adding the prefix 'Uncle Toby's' to something makes it better.... Then there was that one about absorbing fat...30% less. 30% less then what baseline? Your R.D.I amount? The amount of fat before which you have a heart attack? And don't even get me started on the police helicopter ad. If every other police force jumps off the harbour bridge, should the QLD police for do the same? Fuzzy thinking is what it is. And it annoys me.
All that really goes to prove though is that I'm easily annoyed. Not a good thing.
