Crazy Roundabout

I was walking to the shop to get my lunch today (top temperature of 6, bloody England) and walked through a new housing flat thingy that is next to work. I was absolutely shocked to see a roundabout in the middle of a carpark there. Sure, it's triangle shaped, but if it was real it would make the whole thing that much harder to get in and out of. At least it's only painted on, so it's not too bad. But have a look at my photo stream to see it, http://www.flickr.com/ben-at-home/.

Also, it was very very very cold this morning. It was so cold that several puddles I normally splash through on the way to work, I rode over the top of. You can see an example of how cold it was in the other photos. They're actually from another day, but it felt the same level of coldness to me so I'm pretty certain it was.

While I'm on the topic of the photos I've been taking, I've noticed an option to see how many views of the photo there has been. I'm kind of curious how the Liverpool photos got so many views, as the rest generally have none. Which is fine, I take them to remind me of where I've been, not to show off my photoing skills. Which is good, because I don't have any :) To be honest though, I think they're actually getting better with practice. Not much, but maybe a little.

Which brings me to Christmas. I don't expect any present from anybody back in Australia (be pretty silly of me to if I did!). So I have to buy myself a Christmas present. Suggestions welcome. Please keep in mind though that the Nintendo Wii is sold out in most places over here, I'm going to buy a laptop in January/February next year so not quite yet. Clothes are boring. I'm not sure about a DS, as I don't think I'll use it after I get a real computer. It's tricky, but I'd like to think people can help me come up with some ideas.

On the photo views... it probably changed because once we saw you had a flickr account we just subscribed to your RSS feed :)

I'd buy you a wii from here but we have the same problem...
