Snowing!

It is snowing in England. It seems like the UK doesn't expect to ever get snowed on....go figure. As I sit here, I can see through the heat haze from my heater at work flurries of snow coming down. I never knew what they looked like before today...

Driving to work was fun, everything was white. Except the road. The advantage of living where I do (more later), means that I travel to work on main roads. So they had been gritted. It was quite funny looking at all the cars travelling past with their loads of snow. By far the funniest was the Porsche, as there is no engine in the front there was no way for the snow on the bonnet to melt....and it was several cms thick.

So, to give a quick update, I'm now living in Manchester, in Northenden to be precise. So I have to drive to work, but it generally doesn't take longer then half an hour to get here, which is alright. I've taken quite a lot of photos, but I don't have the cables with me to upload them now. I didn't realise how thick it was until I had to brush it off my car windows. Which is better then scraping ice, let me tell you :)

And I am so glad I brought my lunch to work today, as I really don't want to go outside walking in this to go get some. Just walking to the car is going to be bad enough.

And in a side note, the snow is getting heavier...I think I may have a snow ball fight at some time today....just because I can :)
