A Year in Review

Following on from Jacqui, I thought it might be nice to put things in review. So here goes.

Living in England, obviously the highlight is all the travelling I've done. Skiing is very high on the list of fun things, although Barcelona and Berlin were also very cool. Basically, any of the travel was good, everything was a new experience. I have lots of photos, and hopefully I remember all the stories behind them.

Aussie Rules was great fun, it was exactly the sort of club I wanted to join. Playing a bit of sport while also doing lots of travel and drinking...what could be wrong with that? Kicked a couple of good goals, did a few good things but generally looking forward to next year when I'll be fitter and be (hopefully) a better player.

The number 1 highlight is definitely ZEDS. Very cute, and it's nice to have the pressure of grand children off the rest of us. In fact, I'm a little sad at living overseas because I won't get to see too much of him while over there. But that's the only regret.

Overall, I think I would rate 2008 the best year ever! Which doesn't mean much, as pretty much every year has been better then the last (except for 2005 (or 2006, I forget which)). 2009 should be even more filled with traveling, drinking and highlights. So far it's been pretty good, so I hope everyone else also has a good one!

Totally agree on the number being Zach. He's absolutely amazing and even better that he's not mine!

It's nice to know that Zach is so loved. He was definitely our highlight - even though we do get to keep him!

We do miss you though Ben, and when (if) you decide to come back you are more than welcome to inhabit the desk bed again. I would wait until he sleeps thru though ...

awww. 2008 definately wasn't my best but I agree that I have a feeling 2009 is going to be much, much, better :)
