Croatia

Australia is playing Croatia in the morning for the chance to make the round of 16 at the World Cup. The only problem I have with it is that the game isn't on till 5am and as it's a work day I can't afford to not be at work. It has been absolutely crazy.

But I digress.

I'm getting very excited. About this and other things. But the soccer is going to be fantastic as there is nothing more tense then a game Australia should win and need to. They have a frustrating habit of not scoring many goals early like the should despite dominating play. To be honest I think this game could be a big test as Croatia are the most physical team we will have met in a long time. I like to think we have the better technical skills but that didn't help Brazil when they played us. Going to be close, I don't think either team will do it easy. I think our fitness will tell at the end of the game but that doesn't mean we'll score. Of course I've tipped Australia to win but I think it very likely it will be a low scoring game. Probably 2-1. I'd like us to absolutely thrash them but I don't think that will happen. But then it's round of 16 and knock out. And penalties. Which will be fun as I don't think there's many better keepers then Schwarzer so I think that will give us an edge.

And I still can't believe Harry did what he did and got off. I'm very very happy he did, I still don't know how and he's an idiot for jeopardising his involvement in the next game.

All that being said, if he scores tomorrow all is forgiven :)
